I will see how the peat sampling suggestations look like and see if I can add something. In Sweden we have a long tradition in sampling 0-30 cm and 30-50 cm but I would like to change it to 0-10, 10-20, 20-40 and perhaps 40-80 cm but currently we can not increase the number of samples as much as this. Furthermore, perhaps genetic horizons should be considered; sampling acrothelm and catothelm layers.
