ICP Forests kindly invites you to join the 6th ICP Forests Scientific Conference "Air pollution, climate change and forest ecosystems: Evidence for effects, adaptation, and mitigation strategies" in Bucharest, 16-17 May 2017.

Main topics

• The impact of nitrogen, ozone, and their interactions on forest ecosystems
• Nutrient and biogeochemical cycling
• Heavy metals in forests
• Climate change, air pollution effects and interactions

The conference addresses all scientists in the field of air pollution and climate change research in forests, including experts from ICP Forests, the UNECE ICP community under the Working Group on Effects (WGE), partners and stakeholders, and interested scientists from related fields. Particular interest is put on projects, evaluations and modelling exercises that are based on ICP Forests data. Respective researchers are encouraged to present and discuss their work and results.

The deadline for abstract submission was 28 February 2017 (for details please refer to 2nd Announcement).
