We thank Vít Šrámek and his colleagues from the Czech Forestry and Game Management Research Institute for organizing this year's Joint Expert Panel Meeting in Prague, 5-7 April 2022.

Participants were very grateful for meeting in person again after two years of online meetings under the COVID19-pandemic and appreciated peaceful dialogue and transnational co-operation.

We welcome three colleagues as new Expert Panel Co-Chairs (to be confirmed at the next TFM):

• EP Deposition - Andreas Schmitz, State Agency for Nature, Environment and Consumer Protection of North Rhine-Westphalia (LANUV) - final decision still pending
